Analytical Chemistry
Rajesh (pondering to himself in chemistry class): This analytical analysis is so boring. They have pictures of IR spectra, H-1 NMR Spectra, C-13 NMR Spectra and mass spectra, and God knows what else. Why can't they just click a photograph of the darn oragnic molecule through an electron microscope to determine its structure?!?
Talk about asking a kid's step sister-in-law's grandfather about what the kid likes for dinner when the kid is just 2 feet away and has a mouth that can speak.

Higher Level P3 Options
Mrs. Birsan: So which options do higher level physics students pick?
Someone: h and f (astrophysics and optics)
Rajesh: Yeah, energy! E = hf!

Quotes for the Day
Peter just sent me the unabridged version of his now defunct IB quotes logbook. Thanks Peter! Some of them did bring a smile to my face; hope they will do the same for you too. I'll be posting some of them once in a while, but I'll try to get some new ones as we go.
Mr. Klassen: “What did they have to use to make explosives?”
Angela: “Bombs”
(Apr 27)
Mrs. Birsan (angrily): "Jonathan! You have test corrections to do."
(A while later..)
Jonathan: "Quit staring at me, you all! I'm blushing ... you just can't see it!"
Rajesh (in English class): "If the teachers wanted to punish you, they'd just make you stand out in the sun for 15 minutes..." (And the whole class starts laughing) (Mar 16)

IB Chronicle Release
Hello,
After quite a delay, I finally got to releasing the IB Chronicle. This, I hope, will be the place for IB-specific news, jokes, puns and quotes. The URL:
http://www.meetrajesh.com/ibchronicle/
I was planning on building another website called 'IB Journal' for housing popular weblogs by IB students at our school. But I guess it's too late already.

A completely new face-lift!
Hi members!
After much contemplation, I have finally decided to change the look and feel of this forum, just to freshen up things a bit. The old forum was more than a year old and it began to show its age quite conspicuously.
Feel free to browse the new forum and familiarize yourself with the various features. If you have any suggestions, complaints or bugs, feel free to let me know either at school or by email.
Use this forum for just about anything. Discussing HW, rants, and the like. My primary aim is to keep our batch going and to serve as a medium for our batch to keep in touch after we graduate.
We can all definetly enjoy some extra correspondence here.
Enjoy away!
